The next Masters of Food and Wine spotlights the rustic elegance of Tuscany through the beautifully crafted Grattamacco wines. Established in 1977, Grattamacco has carved a pioneering path in Italian viticulture as the second vineyard to take root in Bolgheri’s sunlit landscape.
Relish in the finest selection of Grattamacco wines paired with Chef Luca’s five-course menu that captures the culinary richness of the region. Set the tone for the evening with the classic tomato velouté served with poached lobster and bread. Over the courses, prepare your palate for a heavenly medley of flavours: a Tuscany-style beef tartare dressed in pecorino sauce, an umami-packed experience of mountain mushroom ragout paired with ricotta ravioli and Taleggio cheese, and Wagyu beef served with the Tuscan classic ribollita and Grattamacco red wine sauce. For dessert, the iced nougat, dry fruit compote with a drizzle of red plum sauce will round off the meal with a delightful contrast of textures and flavours.
